Work on Display

You may now see my work on display at a couple of different locations. Small world Early Learning Centers located in Oak Ridges and Richmond Hill offered wall space for my work to be display to children and families of the centers. I have also been given the privilege to photograph the children of the center which will be coming up in the fall. I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to being apart of that. For more information on the center please visit http://www.swelc.ca/.

Baby In Gear has also agreed to display my work in their beautiful new shop located in Aurora on Wellington. I have to say CHECK THIS STORE OUT!!!!! It's amazing and has all of the BEST finds for pregnancy up to children age 4 or 5. There is no need to travel to the city anymore because now we have it right here, YAY! You can also check them out on line here at http://www.babyingear.com/. The company originated online but has just recently opened a brick and mortar store. Fantastic store I mean that 100%!

My Session with Lynda

You may or may not recall but Lynda was the winner of my portrait session being given away at the Aurora Home Show in the spring. Well a couple of days ago we were finally able to get together and make that happen. Here is some of what I got from the session with Lynda.

This is the image that will be seen on the next addition of SNAP Aurora

New Series!

Recently I was able to take a week off for a much needed vacation and I was able to indulge in my own work. I was able to capture the building of a traditional Teepee which I am now going to make into an art book. These are a couple of the images that are part of that series.

The Right To Dry Campaign!

That's right I have had the honor to team up with Aurora Mayor Phyllis Morris in The Right To Dry Campaign! Some of you may know Mayor Phyllis Morris as she has made head way through local, national, and international press on her fight in changing Ontario legislation. For several years suburban families have not had the option to dry their clothes on clothing lines which has left us to rely on gas and electric dryers which use large amounts of electricity. Now, because of Phyllis's efforts we have the "Right To Dry" our clothes on a clothing line if we so choose. This will also go to lowering our environmental emissions and helps save money!

I am a huge advocate for anything to do with saving our environment so this is something I feel honored to be apart of in every way. Phyllis mentioned to me that she needed a photo to represent the campaign after the first had been stolen and used to profit from. So I took it upon myself to create an image that Phyllis would hopefully be proud to use in her campaign. To my luck she chose the image above and I could not be more thrilled to be apart of this campaign!
