My visit to the Zoo

On Friday Aug 8th I had the fantastic opportunity to visit the Toronto Zoo for a behind the scenes tour. It was incredible! One of those opportunities that my family and I will always remember. These are just some of the animals we saw that day. I would really like to thank Calvin the CEO of the Zoo for this incredible opportunity, Amanda who was our guide for our tour and was amazing through the day and Mr. Tim Jones for setting us up for this amazing guided tour! These are just some of the adorable faces we saw that day. If you have not been to the Zoo lately I HIGHLY recommend seeing the Sting Ray exhibit! They are amazing (sorry to keep using the same words it was just out of this world).
This is Shaboo, the female White Rino that lives at the zoo. She was incredible to spend time with as she was SO sweet. We will never forget the time we got to spend with her.

This guy was a bird we passed by n one of the pavilions sleeping away as if nothing was happening. I loved the way the light was hitting him.

I know the colour is weird on this but I thought it really added to the feel of the photo. I believe he is a green tree snake and he was sitting right in front of the window.
Flamingo’s always pretty.
Forgive e but I forget the name of this funny looking guy but they are part of the Pelican Family. This little guy is brand new to the Zoo and was very unsure of the camera lens, lol.

New Portfolio Work

Thank you thank you thank you to Madeline! Madeline was kind enough to offer her time and stunning look for my portfolio work. As you know the wedding industry is what I am looking to get into a little more but have found it difficult to say "Yes I can absolutely cover a wedding, however I have nothing to show you", lol. For my perspective client I know that is a huge chance to take on me so I had to remedy that! I have TONS of ideas and I am hoping to bring something a little new and different to this area in the choice of wedding photography. My approach is photographs that portray elegance, style with a little bit if avant-garde thrown in. I want your photographs to be pieces of art and not just portraits. So this is a bit of what I got!
