Mayor of Aurora's Campaign - York Region Photographers

Backing up once again to August I had the privilege and pleasure of photographing Mayor Morris's campaign. It had to be one of the hottest days of the year and while we melted that day I had a great time (hopefully you did too Phyllis).

 

I admit I was pretty naive as to just what a Mayor of a town really does and in the 4.5 hours I spent with Phyllis I learned a heck of alot and left feeling I hadn't even skimmed the surface.

I learned about all of the different projects this past council had put together along with some of the plight and stories people go through. It really was an interesting experience and I have to say the Mayor of your town works a whole lot harder than one could ever dream. My hat comes off to those who serve in office!

Cultural Center Plaque Unveiling - Aurora Photographers

Last evening the Town of Aurora unveiled the new plaque that finishes off the Arts and Culture center in Aurora.  Groups that helped aid in refinishing the building to make the building what it is today came out for some pictures and this is just a bit from that.  Once again thank you too the Town of Aurora for choosing us to document this event.

This was a really neat and fun commission!  This session was for a large corporation based out of the US named Storage Mart.  You can find them all over the place and may have seen a few locations from the highway.  In all we photographed 22 locations which had us on the road for 3 days in late August.  We went from Collingwood all the way to London and really enjoyed the road trip.  The skies were stunning for those three days (thank god!) so it worked out pretty darn great!

Ohhhh New Baby! - York Region Newborn Photographers

Every single one of them is SO scrumptious. For parents of older children you can likely appreciate why I swoon so. It takes you right back to that day when your baby/s were born and what it was like to hold them all the time and know where they are. Let’s also appreciate the delightfulness of not talking back, lol. I love that I get to be reminded so often as to just how much they are amazing. Enjoy new parents you will miss this squishiness!

Dear Universe,

Please oh please receive my request! I LOVED the apartment I saw today. Please let me continue to grow so that the owner of this fine building may put this property up for sale in 4 years. By which time I will be secure enough to be able to by said property. Please oh please let it be I promise to be good forever!

 

Excuse my plea but as you can tell I love this place and is the very reason it will be hard for me to stay in one house for the rest of my life (shhhh Mike might kill me if he herd that). I admittedly have always longed for a place like this and this place just seems to have everything. I could definitely see my business being run from this place although the visibility is nil because it is in the back of the building. My vision of owning real estate was once again realized again and still remains to be on the top of my 5 year plan. This place would be perfect!!!!

 

Anyway if you are planning to sell your home if you didn't already know I also do real estate photography. Yes I have my hands in several pots but again it's the love. The live grows stronger every day, LOL.
