Easter Sunday Family Portrait Blast! - York Region Family Photographer

What a fun day this was.  We spent our time walking the trails and taking some pictures on the beautiful Sunday afternoon.  This was the outcome, well a very small amount of the outcome but these were just some of my personal favs!

It's Fall!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE fall! The light, the colour, the atmosphere and all the festivals really is there a better time of year?

This season is gearing up for some great sessions once again. Along with the fall comes, of coarse some changes to pricing, however you will all be happy to hear pricing is not going up in fact it is staying right where it is. The only changes I am making are there will no longer be print credits with session fees... I know sad to see it go however on the up side I am implementing a referral program! Those of you I have had the pleasure to work with have been so incredibly kind to me with referring your friends and family I want to reward that incredible kindness.

What is the referral you ask?

This will be $15.00 gift certificates to you to be used towards portrait sessions. There are no limitations so if you refer 8 people to me and they all book that means you will reap the rewards with $120.00 towards another session! Referral bucks are not applicable to products but to session fees you can have a hay day!

These are once again from the daycare children I photographed in the spring. I loved the turn out and wanted to show a few. I'm not sure all parents have seen them yet, however they will be on display this coming week.

This little girl was beautiful last seasons and this season. Her photographs were amazing in my opinion you will hopefully see more of her in the winter (some great winter shots)!

First Time Internationally Recognized!!!!!! - York Region Family Photographer!

I can't believe it. I am above cloud 9 I got selected as Photographer of The Day on http://www.usefilm.com/ AND I made Best In Project. I am dancing around the house right now so happy!!!!!!!!!! This is my first time being recognized internationally happy doesn’t even seem to touch the feeling I have right now!

Aurora Church St School - Aurora Family Photographer

I was out on assignment yesterday for the paper doing Doors Open Aurora and got some great personal work accomplished as well. The new Aurora Church St School is officially open and finished renovations. The new-old school is incredible and the only7 place I would consider opening a studio. The light is out of this world!

This Photo was a last minute creative idea. The original black board is still in one of the upstairs rooms and has been enclosed in glass for preservation. My daughters were with me and I could see my youngest dancing behind me this is what was captured.

Durocher Family Portrait

This was a great session to photograph all the elements where in place and it was a ton of fun. The Durocher's won this session through a silent auction where the proceeds’ lovingly went to The Walk to End Breast Cancer. Here is the sneak peek it was hard for me to choose.

Beautiful Baby Boy

Beautiful, beautiful baby boy. I don't know why but he makes me sing that song in my head. This brand new little guy was as cool as a cucumber and oh so cute!

Gardens

I may seem strange but I always get attached to the wildlife that lives with in the vicinity of our house. I have always loved and respected animals so I had to share this baby chipmunk that now lives somewhere around where we live. She is very cute and seemed to pose for the camera.

Performer - York Region Portrait Photographer

Do you recognize this guy? He was one of the finalists for last years Canadian Idol. This young star is named Drew Write and his band is Fall and Divide (www.fallanddivide.com). This performance was with out the band and was done in a simple acoustic performance but boy oh boy I don't know about you but those are by far my favorite. They tingle the senses and really connect with me. Those of you who know me know I love to photograph performers there is just something about it maybe the atmosphere but the electricity always makes me buzz (hmmm the sign of some who LOVES what they do, LOL). This was done in Aurora Town Park not to long ago and I love the casual outcome. If this band ever comes to your town trust me check them out! Live, Drew is incredible.
