Well here we are in March and spring is right around the corner. With that comes new creative ideas and changes! My first update is:

I am going to be on TV!

Watch for me on Monday March 24th at 9 pm and Wednesday March 26th on Rogers TV's Pam McDonald’s Insights show. The show will be about Mompreneurs in our region so there will be a panel of us. Check it out although admittedly I am very nervous, LOL, so if I'm quivering like a leaf or beat read you will know why, LOL.

February February

Well here we are in the end of February and if you are anything like me I am ready for spring! I love love love the snow but this time of year I have just about had enough, I'm sure the rest of you can agree.

So it's been a while since my last post. The paper has been picking up steam and I have been busy with that lately. Next year however I am hoping some of you would like to venture out into the beautiful white snow for a photo session. The snow can be so much fun and make for a great back drop!

Ok to keep in touch with that lovely warm weather that will eventually show up I have found a venue that some of you may be interested in for portrait sessions. The venue is "The Hillary House" located in Aurora on Yonge Street. It's a BEATIFUL century home built in 1862 and is full of character and charm. Sessions at the Hillary House will be $350.00 with your same $50 print credit included. If this is something that may interest you, contact me with a couple of dates that you may like to have the session on and I will check availability. Sessions at the Hillary House must be paid for in full at the time of booking to secure the date.

If you are like me you may be sitting here saying to yourself "Sarah you need to decorate this place"! Well I couldn't agree more, LOL! I think about it daily and it is something I am going to get on right away, LOL. Stay tuned for the new look of my blog!

Welcome to a brand new year!

Well today is the last day of the year and what a year it has been! Full of exciting turns of events for us, I hope your year has been a great one too.

I am looking forward to this coming year to learn more both photographically and personally, meeting many new people, and to continue to grow my business in the year ahead.

So I hear January is the month of months for wedding bookings! With this comes the announcement that I will be taking on weddings this year! I am looking SO forward to photographing a wedding I can not even begin to tell you how much so! Wedding days are so important to us; they are labeled as "the happiest day of our life", and a day we will never forget. I am looking so forward to photographing a wedding because I think they will suit me to a T. What better than a day FULL of emotion and special moments, for a photographer it doesn’t get much better than that trust me! My approach will be photojournalism with a bit of avant guard, and a dash of traditionalism for those much needed group family shots! I love to work with available light and I work really well when I am able to sit back and capture the day as it unfolds; only intervening when I need to. If this is something that you think will suit you by all means contact me. My rates for weddings are extremely reasonable as I am looking to build that part of my portfolio. I will be taking on small weddings at this time and will only book with couples I feel I am on the same page with. My max party size will be 100 people, this is to ensure the best possible memories captured on your day.

Jingle Bell Walk

I covered the Jingle Bell walk which was the first of the monthly York Region Forest tours that will be happening through out this coming year. The walk was brisk and beautiful. I just love the forest and its quiet peacefulness!

December update

Hello everyone I have fallen behind on my Blogging I know. The end of November and December have been crazy busy and that is why I have fallen behind on keeping updates. I have had some really great shoots lately I thank you all who chose me to capture there treasured memories! I had a blast with you all.

My event coverage has been really busy as well with our cut off date being so short this month. I have really enjoyed getting out into the community during the holidays to enjoy all of the events offered at this time of year. They really helped in bringing that holiday mood this year!
